
Kiersten Colbran
Kiersten Colbran
played multiple sports including basketball, badminton,
soccer, track and field, cross country, and volleyball
and won numerous awards. She won championships in
badminton girls doubles in 2009 and 2010 while advancing
to SWOSSAA all four years. She was a member of the
Northern SWOSSAA championship soccer team in 2007 and
2008 as a junior and 2009 as a senior. And she also was
a part of the Midget, Junior, and Senior girls
championship volleyball teams.
Kiersten has also won numerous awards and has been named
NCIVS Female athlete of the year in 2007, 2008 and 2009,
as well as winning the ‘Black Award’ in those years as
well. She has won the OVA Award of Excellence in
Volleyball as part of the Twin Bridges Girls team in
2007, and has won the Madawaska Volleyball Camp’s ‘Best
Passer’ award in 2008, Nicole Schwertner Memorial award
in 2009, and was selected to Ontario’s High Performance
Volleyball camp in 2009.
