Players to watch in the Bronze Medal Game

 

Sweden

 

#16 F Alexander Nylander

Brother of Toronto Maple Leafs prospect William and son of former NHLer Michael,
Alexander is a skilled forward who has created chances with his speed and puck skills.

 

 

#3 D Jacob Cederholm

Cederholm is a big defender who contributes at both ends of the ice. He can play physical against the wall and overpower opponents in the defensive zone but also uses his size and long reach to carry the puck up ice.

 

#1 G Filip Gustavsson

Gustavsson is a big goaltender with a great frame. He's been one of the top goaltenders
 in this event at one point holding a shutout streak for over 179 minutes.
If Sweden is to be victorious, he will need to have a good game.

 

Finland

 

 #8 D Tarmo Reunanen

Tarmo is a competitive defender who skates well and can carry the puck.
He's made good plays with the puck on the point and has a good stick in the defensive zone.

 

#10 F Kristian Vesalainen

Kristian is an underager at this event and has shown the ability to both put the puck in the net
and set up goals for his team. Despite being one of the youngest players in the tournament he
has been one of the best for Finland.

 

 #18 F Janne Kuokkanen

Kuokkanen has been a strong playmaker for Finland on the wing and has
created multiple goals for his team.
