number of years has made significant
contributions to sports beyond athletic endeavors, ie: media,
coach, official, trainer etc.
Michael L'Heureux
Michael L’Heureux is the winner in this category. As a youngster he excelled in soccer, tennis and hockey. As a teenager, he was a standout with the Jr. ‘B’ Sarnia Legionnaires.
From there it was on to college hockey where he was captain of the Ohio University squad. He set a school record for most points in a game (nine) that has stood for more than half a century.
