Since 1935 Ted Chapman has been involved with sports in the community as a player, coach and executive. 

He was involved with Curling since 1946-1986 (40 years) winning many local titles.  He was a member of the Sarnia/port Huron Bowling league since 1949 and continued for 50 years until he retired in 1989.  Throughout that time he became involved with the Canadian Organization and held President of the Sarnia Districk Bowling league and was given the hounour of a lifetime membership.

Ted became involved with softball in 1924 and continued as a player and coach for 50 years.
