Bob Gladwish Sr.
Born:  Sarnia, Ontario

Hockey/Fastball

Over his lifetime Bob Gladwish Sr. has and continues to support both youth and adults in sports.  He is a very dynamic individual with the ability to get things done and done right.  He has volunteered on various committees and sponsored many sporting teams in the Sarnia Lambton area.

Back in the early 1950's to 1965 Bob was a very competitive drag car racer, winning the

Canadian Drag Car Racing Championship for the most wins in the season.

Bob has supported youth with sponsorship in golf, hockey, figure skating, soccer, bowling etc.  Fastball was near and dear to Bob and his family.  Bob sponsored the first GLIS fastball team that won the Ontario Senior "A" Fastball Championship in 1981 and this team also finished 2nd in the Canadian Championships that same year.

Bob formed his own company know as Ranson named after his late son Randy.  Bob Gladwish continued to sponsor teams but with the name RANSON in the forefront.

Fastball again came fron and centre with the Ranson Senior "A" Fastball Team winning the 1987 Ontairo Senior "A" Men's Title and finishing 2nd in the Canadian National Men's Championship.

Hockey is also important to thte Gladwish family sponsoring teams in Mooretown and the Sarnia Ranson Junior "B" team.  These teams were highly successful, winning Ontario Titles and more importantly developing local talent for future endeavors.
