St. Germaine named OUA West Women's Soccer all-stars

The Windsor Lancers are pleased to announce that and Danielle St. Germaine and  Sara Kox  from the Women’s Soccer team have been named OUA All-Stars, as announced by the OUA.

In her first season in net, St. Germaine was named to the second all-star team. A red shirt at the start of the season, an injury to goaltender Rebecca Singer saw St. Germaine thrust into the starting spot, were she didn’t disappoint. St. Germaine helped lead the team to their best regular season finish in years and a spot in the OUA playoffs.  
 

Kox, a second year defender, was named a first-team all-star for her contributions on the field this season.

“Sara’s outstanding performance on defense saw the Lancers control many games this year,” commented head coach Angelo Verardi. “Her height and skill was a tremendous asset on the back field this season.”

Congratulations to both Sara and Danielle, and the entire Lancer Women’s Soccer team for their accomplishments this season!
