September 12 - 13 - Season openers

Western (1-1) split a pair of games this weekend, losing 1-0 to Wilfrid Laurier on Sept. 13 and defeating Waterloo 2-0 on Sept. 12.

In the win over Waterloo, Courtney Lambert (Burlington, Ont.) opened the scoring in the 11th minute and Robyn Sudeyko (Calgary, Alta.) booted home the insurance goal in the 31st minute, while goalkeeper Marissa Chin (Toronto) earned the clean sheet. 

The team next prepares for a road trip to play York and Guelph next weekend, Sept. 19-20.
