The Fury U9 Black was back
in action vs. Bluewater's
U9/U10 team the "Bandits".
On a beautiful evening for
soccer the Fury travelled to
Suncor Park for the match.
Black started fast and
furious and were awarded
with an early goal from
mid-fielder Kyle Flamminio.
Shortly after, Fury striker
Isaiah Edlington gave Black
a two goal lead on a strong
low drive which eluded the
Bandit keeper. Striker Ryan
Janssens made it a three
goal lead putting one in
from a corner kick. The Fury
kept on the pressure with
Kyle Flamminio picking up
his second of the night on a
loose ball scramble in front
of the Bandit net. Fury
defender Christian
D'Agostini sent in the
perfect through ball
to striker Mateo Troiani who
made the dash on goal and
finished with a thunderous
shot to the top of the net.
The Fury closed out the
scoring in the first half
with Kyle Flamminio once
again scoring his third of
the night, taking his team
into the half up 6 - 1.
In the second half the Black
Fury made a goaltending
change and replaced Andrew
Harron with Carter Barron.
