Sarnia U10's Win Semi Final Playoff

 
Sarnia were at home to face Wallaceburg A in Semi Final playoff action.
Great passing move between Skylr Melton, Carmen Handy resulted in Mickayla Moses scoring to take the lead. Julie Blanchette then came colse . Sarnia kept the pressure going and Chloe Kennedy made it 2 after a nice pass from Sydney Caron, who as now returned from injury. Wallaceburg then broke through but were denied by Morgan Waggs in net. Sarnia began to take control. Wallaceburg goalie made some nice saves from Julie Blanchette and Skylr Melton to keep Wallaceburg in the game.

2nd half Sarnia kept the play up and were passing very well. Bianca Sapone found Carmen Handy in space and was unlucky to have the shot hit the cross bar. a couple of minutes later Carmen again taking the shot and hitting the post. Carmen Handy then made no mistake and scored 2 goals. 1st came from a nice pass from Mickayla Moses and the second was a goal kick from Daphine Hibma which Carmen ran onto a hit high into the net to go up 4 - 0.  Chloe Kennedy then made it 5 after some good hustling on the wing from Morgan Waggs. Wallaceburg kept trying hard but some solid saves from Daphine Hibma secured the shutout.

Final score 5 - 0 Sarnia.
 
Sarnia now travel to a Kitchener tournament  22nd -23rd Aug.
