A short staffed Sarnia City faced London Scottish on the Bayfest Country Weekend. Within minutes of kickoff the floodgates had opened as Julie Wardell scored the 1^st of her 5 goal outburst on the night. Nancy Barwitzki scored two more as City rolled over the Tartan Army 7-1.  Wardell is listed as the second top leading scorer and Barwitzki is listed as 3rd top scorer in the Premier Division of the London and Area Women's soccer league.

City then travelled to London Marconi where despite battling hard for 90 minutes the women came away on the wrong side of a 1-0 decision.
