The Sarnia Spirit U14 team lost in the finals at the Stratford Festival cup to Burlington Ice 2 to 0. Sarnia opened with a zero zero tie with London Norwest Exteme and Zoe Brown getting the shut out. The Spirit edged Brantford Lady Strikers 1 to 0 as Faith Morden hit a bullet from about 35 yards and Brown had a another shut out.

Next up the Spirit lost a heart breaker to Burlington 2 to 1 as Val Spano score the Sarnia goal and this was the only goal Burlington allowed in 5 games. Sarnia advanced to the semi's where they defeated Fergus in a shoot out despite dominating the whole game. Kathleen Reid, Faith Morden and Chelsee Pettit scored in the shoot out. Zoe Brown and call up Paige Tucked shared the shut out.

The entire Spirit team had a strong week end and played very well.
