Sting
Trade MacQueen To Spitfires
Sarnia, On –
General Manager Dave MacQueen announced this
afternoon the Sarnia Sting Hockey Club has
traded forward Zack MacQueen to the Windsor
Spitfires.
In exchange the Sting will
receive Windsor’s 12th round
selection in the 2011 OHL Priority
Selection.
Dave MacQueen explains the
deal.
“We have an abundance of
young forwards so it made sense to move an
older forward to help us get down in numbers
before training camp opens. Also speaking
as Zack’s father I am excited for him at the
opportunity he now has in Windsor.”
The Sting open their 2010
Training Camp on Tuesday August 31st
at the RBC Centre. A full training camp
schedule will be released next week.
