Sarnia, ON – Sarnia
Sting General Manager Dave
MacQueen has announced that
the club has traded overage
forward Steve Reese to the
Sudbury Wolves.
The
Sting will receive the
Wolves 4th round
pick in the 2011 OHL
Priority Selection and
Sudbury’s 7th
round pick in the 2010 OHL
Priority Selection.
Sting
General Manager and Head
Coach Dave MacQueen
commented on the deal. “It
was tough calling Steve in
to inform him of the trade.
Steve is a quality player
and more importantly an
outstanding individual. We
wanted to address our
overage situation and get
down to three players in
fairness to everyone, Steve
included.”
MacQueen added, “We’re happy
to continue to replenish our
draft picks as we are very
excited about the groundwork
being done here and the
direction we are moving in.
We wish Steve all the best
in Sudbury and I know he
will have an immediate
impact on their club.”
