STING ANNOUNCE CAPTAINS
Jordan Hill First Sarnia-Native To Be
Named Captain In Team History
Sarnia, ON –
Sarnia Sting Head Coach and General
Manager Dave MacQueen announced this evening that the
hockey club has named its Captain and Alternate
Captains. The Captain is veteran defenceman Jordan
Hill. Hill becomes the first Sarnia-native in Team
History to be named Captain.
The Alternate Captains are Steven Reese,
Kale Kerbashian and Nathan Chiarlitti.
The Sting open the 2009-2010 OHL Season
Friday night when the Oshawa Generals visit the SSEC.
The game will feature a special pre-game
introduction of the entire team as well as a ceremony to
honour Sarnia native Kerry Fraser in being named to the
OMHA All-Time Team.
As well the Hockey Hall of Fame will set
up a display on the concourse featuring five of the most
recognizable trophies in hockey. The Hart, Vezina,
Masterton, King Clancy and Norris Trophies will all be
on display.
