Point Edward Midget Hockey Season Opener
on home ice took place Sat. Oct. 24/09.
With a new
coach, a huge team turnover, and only
five ice sessions prior to their first
game, the Point Boys suffered their
first loss against Lucan Green Midget
team. Lucan scored twice in the first
period and again twice in the third
period, to win 4-0.
The
boys played hard, but just haven't had
enough time to gel yet. It will come!

Blackhawk's on the road to Forest Sun.
Oct. 25/09
The Point
boys traveled to Forest to win
against the Lambton Shores Red team
6-2.
In the first
period Brady Harper
scored assisted by Kevin Conroy and Ryan
Tye.
Period two,
Dalton Hart and
Presten MacKenzie both had an
unassisted goal. Kevin
Conroy scored a goal, assisted
by Connor Thomas and Nathan Cunningham.
Third
Period, Kevin Conroy
scored again, assisted by Presten
MacKenzie. Then Presten
MacKenzie scored again,
assisted by Tanner Belling.
