SCITS Golf Team

Kingsville, ON - In Boys team action LCCVI ( Derek
Hinchcliffe, Derek Morden, Connor Mathers and Luke
Stevens ) finished at 232, tied with the squad from
Windsor Villanova.
LCCVI won
the SWOSSA title and a spot at OFSSA in Belleville,
to be played on October 11th - 13th, by the
previously agreed tiebreaker format.
The LSSAA champion SCITS Blue Bombers, forced to
play one man short, finished at 238 in 4th place.
In girls' individual action, Quinn McKenzie from
North Lambton had the conference's lowest score at
104. Madison Grant of SCITS posted a 105 and Delana
McDonald of Northern a 109. Unfortunately, none of
these scores were low enough to qualify for the
girls provincial finals.
In boys individual action, Dan Bowling tied for the
lowest score of the day at 71. Kyle Wicks of Chatham
McGregor, a member of Canada's national junior team,
matched that score late in the day and a playoff was
required. Wicks won the SWOSSA title on the second
playoff hole, but both players advance to the
provincial finals.

77 and Connor Mathers (LCCVI) 79.
