The Northern Jr. Vikings football team got off to an early start and didn't look back in their game against the LCCVI Lancers. 

Mitchell Smiley scored the Vikings' first major when he ran the opening kick off back into the Lancers' endzone.  Mason Kett added the extra point.  Kobe Lundy added another touchdown for the Vikings midway through the first quarter.  He would go on to score three more touchdowns in the game. 

At 4:24 of the first quarter, Jordan Walsh stripped the ball from a Lancer receiver and ran into the endzone for another Vikings' touchdown.   Smiley added another major of his own on a quarterback keeper, and the half ended Vikings 48, Lancers 0.  The Vikings added two more majors in the second half, one by Matt Withers, and the other by Dashaun Reid.  Kett made good on all but one extra point attempt. 

Mario Hudson made some key tackles on defense for the Vikings, along with his defensive teammate, Easton Klaudi. 

Final score - Vikings 61, Lancers 0.
