St. Thomas, ON - Fortunes turned quickly for the
Lambton Shores Predators, who were riding a two game
win streak, only for two losses, including a 5-2
loss to St. Thomas to put them back below ,500 on
the year.
St. Thomas
held the early 1-0 lead after the first period, as
Kevin Zacharuk scored for the Stars, despite the
Predators outshooting St. Thomas 14-12 in the

Predators would put another 14 shots on net in the
second, but wouldn't connect with a goal till Kyle
Brothers scored at the 14:02 mark of the period to
equal the game at 1-1. But that tie wouldn't hold
out till the end of the period, as Brad Kraus scored
on the powerplay with a minute left in the second to
retake the 2-1 lead.
In the

slotting two more passed Predators goalie Brandon
Campbell. Drew Collinson would make it a 3-1 game,
while Kraus would get his second powerplay goal for
the Stars to make it a three goal lead.

would score his second of the game on the powerplay
to answer the Stars goals, but it would be to late
in the game to mount a comeback. Blake Thomas would
score an empty net goal to put away the 5-2 victory.
Campbell

1 for 7 on their powerplay, whiling giving up 2
goals on 6 penalty kills.
