Predators fall to London for seventh straight loss

Lambton Shores, ON – The Lambton Shores Predators dropped their seventh straight game, as the Predators lost 6-3 to the visiting London Nationals Sunday night.

Paul Hopkins would start the scoring in the first for London, while Tyler Bryden would add a goal later in the period for a 2-0 London lead after the first period.

In the second, the Nationals continued to add to their lead, as Ryan Davidson scored on the powerplay to make it a 3-0 London lead. Former National Corey Pawley would get the Predators on the board, followed by Brett Thompson who cut the lead down to one. Billy Eansor would put the Nationals back up by two goals, but thirty seconds later, Thompson would get his second of the period to make it a 4-3 game after two periods.

In the third, Lambton Shores would not be able to get the equalizer, as Colin Mooney and Noah Schwartz each added goals for the Nationals who jumped out to a 6-3 lead and victory.

Mark Foley got the start for the Predators making 18 saves on 24 shots.

Lambton Shores will head to LaSalle on Wednesday before coming back home to take on St. Marys.
