Sarnia, ON - Another great weekend of games in the
Sarnia Flag Football Association regular season.
At 11:00
the Bluewater Power Titans finally stopped their 2
game losing streak with a 47-21 victory over
Phoenix's Phoenixes. In the second game at 11, the
battle of the undefeated teams saw the ANWIS Heat
stop the Lambton Metal Service Rampage 38-21.
At 1:00,
the Titans were not done as they challenged the
undefeated Heat in what was both their second games
of the day. In an incredibly close game that
see-sawed back and forth, the Titans picked up their
second win of the season, handing the Heat their
first loss with a score of 40-36. The other 1:00
game featured the Power Champs shutting out the HSE
Integrated/CIS Roughnecks with a final score of
29-0.
While
there are no SFFA games over the October 09,
Thanksgiving weekend, the league resumes play on
Sunday October 16 with 3 games played at Lansdowne
Park in Sarnia. At 11:00 the Bluewater Power Titans
will challenge the HSE Integrated/CIS Roughnecks
while the Lambton Metal Service Rampage will take on
the Power Champs. In the single 1:00 game, the ANWIS
Heat will meet the Phoenix's Phoenixes.
