The
Point
Edward
Atoms
took
their
first
loss of
the
season
last
Saturday
against
South
Huron.
This
game
could
have
gone
either
way with
a
valiant
effort
from
both
sides
with
strong
goal
tending
from the
Blackhawks.
It was late in the first period when South Huron scored their first goal
in a
tennis
like
game
with
both
teams
going
back and
forth.
South
Huron
added a
second
goal mid
way in
the
second
period
to take
the 2 -
0 lead.
In the
third
the
Blackhawks
fought
hard but
came up
short
and the
score
remained
at 2 - 0
to give
South
Huron
the shut
out win.
The
Atoms
are now
5 wins
and 1
loss for
the
season.
