London, ON - The Lambton Shores Predators scored
three in the third period for a 5-4 victory over the
London Nationals Wednesday night in Junior B hockey
action.
Adam
Arseneault of the Predators got the scoring started
just 30 seconds into the game, but London would
answer back four minutes later, as Adam Rzeszutko
would score on the power play to tie the game. 1:24
later, Jacob Brown would retake the lead for the
Predators, as they get out of the first period
leading 2-1.
In the
second, the Nationals would again find the advantage
on the power play, as Scott Lombardi ties it at 2-2
late in the period. Two minutes later, Aaron Dartch
would put London ahead for the first time in the
game, as London lead 3-2 after two periods.
In the
third, the Predators would finally get one back on
the power play, as Tanner Ferguson scored midway
through the period to start the Predators scoring in
the third. Ryan Trottier would add a goal two
minutes later and Nick Erb would follow it up, as
the Predators score three in under five minutes to
take a 5-3 lead. London would get one more on the
power play with an extra attacker, as Daniel Cameron
made it 5-4, but that would be as close as they
would come.
Justin
Tugwell made 40 saves in the victory for his third
victory of the season.
Lambton
Shores will host Sarnia on Friday, and Chatham on
Saturday.
