Predators rally with four straight in victory over St. Marys

St. Marys, ON - The Lambton Shores Predators would rally from behind to defeat the St. Marys Lincolns 4-2 Friday night in junior B hockey action.

St. Marys would lead in the first period, as David Sproat opening the scoring, followed by Colten Pickett would the Lincolns second goal as they jump out to a 2-0 lead. Nick Erb would cut the lead before the end of the first, but the Predators would trail 2-1.

In the second, Corey Pawley would tie the game in the middle of the period, as he scored the only goal of the period.

In the third, Cody Trowell would score twice late in the period, picking up an empty net goal as well, as the Predators win 4-2.

"Campbell was outstanding in net and Cody Trowell played well earning two goals," said Head Coach Mark Davis. "The line with Corey Pawley and Brendon Merritt were very good tonight. Nick Erb finally got the monkey off of his back with the first goal. All and all we played very well tonight."

The Predators next take on LaSalle on Sunday.
