andrew brethauer November 23rd, 2011

London, ON - In the first half of the home and home series, the London Nationals won 4-3 over the Sarnia Legionnaires in London in Junior B hockey.

London's victory comes after four straight goals to take a 4-2 lead at the start of the third period.

Brent Sauve scored for the Legionnaires to open the scoring in the game, and Justice Dundas put Sarnia up 2-0 with a goal 3 minutes later. But Sarnia couldn't escape the period with the lead, as Thomas Menechella cut the lead in half, and Derek Todosichuk tied it with just under two minutes to go in the first.

In the second London would take their first lead of the game as Todosichuk would get his second of the game, as London scored the only goal in the period.

In the third, the fourth straight Nationals goal came from Daniel Cameron two minutes into the period. Justice Dundas would score his second of the game in the middle of the period, but Sarnia could not tie it up, and London would skate to the 4-3 victory.

Sean Parker got the start again for Sarnia, stopping 30 saves in the loss.

Sarnia will host London on Thursday night and will host Leamington on Saturday night.
