Andrew Brethauer November 13th, 2011

Lambton Shores, ON - After a big victory Thursday night in Sarnia, the Lambton Shores Predators could not follow it up with a victory at home on Saturday, with a 5-2 loss to St. Thomas.

Kyle Brothers had the opening goal just 21 seconds into the game, but St. Thomas would reply twice, as Drew Collinson scored three minutes later, and Matt Schurr added the Stars second goal, as they took the 2-1 lead.

Corey Pawley would tie the game midway through the first period, but the Stars would get out of the first with the lead as Brett Hope scored on the powerplay to make it 3-2 after one.

After no scoring in the second, Brad Kraus would open the third with a powerplay goal to double the lead on Lambton Shores. Mac Wood would add a late third period goal to make it 5-2, as St. Thomas goes on to the victory.

Brandon Campbell got the start for the Predators and made 33 saves in the loss.

Lambton Shores will head to Owen Sound on Friday, November 19th.
