LCCVI started off the LSSAA regular season of boys hockey with a 5-2 victory over the St. Clair Colts.

The Lancers jumped out early with a goal by Connor McKinnon three minutes into the opening period. It would take ten minutes for the Colts to respond, when Matt Ward beat Brad Jacklin to tie the game at one. But it would take the Lancers only twenty six seconds to go back up by one with a goal by Troy Whitley. Both Lancer goals were assisted by Ryan Troittier

St. Clair would tie it up again in the second period with a goal by Denver Spearman, but LCCVI would take control of the game from their, getting another goal from Whitley, and one from Scott Park to put the Lancers up 4-2 at the end of the second. Park would add an empty net goal to make it 5-2.

LCCVI takes on North Lambton next week, while the Colts take on St. Patrick's.
