Jr. Sting host Hamilton Reps in 4-2 victory
SARNIASPORTS.COM  November 16th, 2010

The Jr Sting PeeWee's hosted Hamilton Reps at the RBC Centre on Sunday and cruised to a 4-2 victory over their Eastern Conference opponents.

The Lambton team was in their first action after a respectable showing at the Bauer International Invitational tournament in Chicago the past weekend. Lambton came away with a record of 2 wins, a tie and a loss which eliminated them from the first round of playdown action after finishing tops in their division in the round robin portion of the tournament.

The Hamilton matchup was a chippy contest with a constant flow to the penalty box. The Jr Sting were able to open up an early 4-0 lead before allowing two late goals to make things close. Scoring for Lambton were Ryan Greenaway, Jarret Marks, Colin Leyten and Ethan Dupont all with singles. Anthony Hurtubise had the start in net and was great in keeping the Reps off the scoreboard for most of the game.
