We had one stand out swimmer
really step up and race well taking huge amounts of
time off of some of her best swims, congratulations
to Jenna Cimetta for a great meet! I would also
like to mention our best team cheerleader of the
weekend, Heather Baxter, thanks for being so
supportive of your teammates. Well done Rapids, I
can’t wait until our next meet!
We have had a few changes to our
Regional Championships standards this season, they
are equivalent to the Provincial “C” standards for
all ages for Short Course and Long Course. This
meet is in early February and the swimmers must
qualify this season, times from previous seasons are
not eligible, similar to the changes at the
provincial level where the swimmers must re-qualify
each season.
The following swimmers are
already qualified for Regionals in their current age
group, pending aging up between now and the first
day of Regional Championships in February.
Michael Abrametz, Danielle Adams,
Bella Barker, Heather Baxter, Maude Boily-Dufour,
Samuel Boily-Dufour, Jenna Cimetta, Ashley Klingbeil,
Isaiah Magtanong, and Bethany Robinson.
Congratulations Rapids!
