Lambton Shores Predators kept things close in the
first period, but through the second and third
period, they couldn't keep up with the Strathroy
Rockets, losing 10-2.
Derek Nap scored just thirty-two seconds into the
first period to put the Rockets up early.
Kevin Raine responded on the power play six minutes
later to tie the game up at one. But just two
minutes after, Giiwedin Kakegabon put a power play
goal in the net, to reclaim the lead for the
Rockets. It would take ten minutes for Matt Rupert
to tie the game back up for the Predators, but it
took less then a minute for the Rockets to reclaim
the lead, ending the first period at 3-2.
The second period started just as quick as the first
for the Rockets, as they scored twice within the
first five minutes to up their lead to 5-2,
including Craig Campbell's second of the game.
Lambton Shores could not reply to any goal, but the
Rockets would still continue to put the puck in the
net, with three more goals through the period.
Jordan McNaughton of the Rockets would add two of
his own in the third period to round out the Rockets
scoring.
Sean Parker of the Predators allowed nine goals on
forty two shots before he was replaced by Chris
Clark. The Predators only got 15 shots on net, and
took 45 minutes worth of penalties in the loss.
