To late to late for the Mooretown Flags, as their
two third period goals were not enough to overcome
Belle River's first two period goal totals, as they
drop to the Canadiens 7-3.
Belle River opened the game by blanking the Flags
and scoring four goals of their own. It would turn
into six goals before Josh Teschke could answer for
the Flags on the power play early in the second
period. But Belle River would respond with their
final goal three minutes later. Teschke would score
again in the third period, and Mike Burns would add
another, but the Flags could not overcome the
massive lead the Canadiens had built.
Teschke
records his 6th and 7th goals of the season, while
goaltender Jordan Gladwish made 39 saves of the 46
shots he faced. With the victory, Belle River sits
atop the South Division, while Mooretown sits in
third, tied with Dresden with 11 points each.
Mooretown's next game is at home to Alvinston on
