sarniasports.com November 30th, 2010

The Petrolia Squires needed overtime, but still got the victory over Clinton 7-6. The Squires held a three goal lead after the first period, with Scott McPhail getting two goals, one on the powerplay and one shorthanded, while Scott Hull added a powerplay goal of his own.

The second period would see seven goals pass the goal line, as Clinton would put in four goals in, while Petrolia would get three more, to move their lead to 6-4. Jason Polera scored twice in the period for the Squires while Kyle Gould add a single. But the Squires would not be able to solve the goalie in the third period, but Clinton was able to put it past the Squires keeper twice to tie the game at six all, sending the game into overtime.

Scott Hull would get the overtime winner on the powerplay to give the Squires the 7-6 win.

The Squires next game is December 3rd against Milverton.
