The Lambton
Shores Predators
were in tough
against the
first place
London Nationals
Saturday night,
and
unfortunately,
it was their
highest goals
allowed game all
season as the
Predators lost
14-3.
London opened up
the scoring with
two quick goals
a minute and
eighteen seconds
apart to take a
2-0 lead. Cam
Downie would cut
the lead to one
with his goal
from Christian
Babb, and Thomas
Flamminio, but
the Nationals
would restore
the two goal
lead with goal
by Scott
Lombardi.
The Nationals
would push the
lead to three
after Marcus
Pepe scored just
fourteen seconds
into the second
period.
Christian Babb
would reply for
Lambton Shores
tweleve seconds
after the Pepe
goal, to cut the
lead again, but
the Nationals
would be to take
over, scoring
four more goals
in the period
for a five goal
period to take a
8-2 lead into
the third
period.
The third period
didn't fair much
better for
Lambton Shores,
as the Nationals
scored two quick
goals early on
to increase
their lead to
eight. Adam
Arseneault would
put the
Predators on the
board in the
third, but
London would
continue to
score four more
goals for six in
the period to
settle the game
at 14-3.
Mark Foley made
31 of 34 stops
in the loss. Cam
Downie had a
three point
night for the
Predators,
picking up a
goal and two
assists.
Lambton Shores
next plays
Strathroy on
Tuesday,
November 30th in
Lambton Shores.
