North division leading Wallaceburg took on second place in the South Division Essex Tuesday night. The 73's would shutout the Lakers 4-0 to climb closer to first place Belle River in the South division.

Essex scored in the first as Adam Dunmore put in his eleventh of the season to give the 73's a 1-0 lead. Twenty seconds into the second, Brett Beattie made it a 2-0 game. Mike Roach and Corey Beaulieu would add two more in the third for the 4-0 victory.

Chad Summerfield would save all 40 shots in the shutout, while Matt Berglund would stop 21 of 25 shots for Wallaceburg.

Wallaceburg takes on Kingsville on Novemeber 24th, and Mooretown on Monday November 29th. Fans are welcome to donate a new toy for the les fortunate at either game and will receive a ballot for a Sobey's gift card to be drawn at the game.
