Forest, ON - The Lambton Shores Predators held a Spring Hockey Camp in Dorchester on May 13th and 14th. The camp was well attended with between 70-75 players showing off their skills in the games on Friday and Saturday. There were local talent from Lambton Shores and Lambton County along with kids from London and Elgin Middlesex County. Also players attended from as far away as Timmins, Sault St. Marie and Michigan.
"I was very happy with the response from the kids that wanted to be part of this weekend", says Todd Bidner, GM and Coach.
"There was some great young talent out on the ice. We had 70 to 75 at camp. Out of the camp we invited 40 back to our main camp. I am looking forward in filling some spots from this camp and can't wait for the main camp and the year to start. We will be a hard working and young team to watch this year. Thanks to all the players that made the commitment to make the weekend successful" says Mark Davis, Head Coach.
Overall the camp was a great success and it shows the interest that players have for being part of the Predators Team.
"Our coaching and scouting staff did a great job in organizing and running this camp." says Roop Chanderdat, President and Owner. "The feedback from parents and players was very positive and we are looking forward to continue to build a winning team for our community"
Lambton Shores finished 4-46-1 last season, and have not made the playoffs since moving to Forest from Petrolia.
