May 9, 2011 - Sarnia White vs. Fury Nine

The Sarnia Fury U-10 White started their season off with a 8-0 win over the U-9 Sarnia Fury Boys. Brendan Bouterse was very strong defensively from the first kick off. Brady Medeiros played a great offensive game and put home the first goal of the season. Stefan Pisic and Logan Johnston each took half the game goal tending and both came up strong to keep the U-9 boys from getting anything past them. The boys had some really great passes and plays for their first game. Other goal scorers were: Mark Barsoum with 3 goals, Brendan Bouterse with 2 goals, Brayden Boere and Evan Trigatti with one a piece. Special Mention to Rob Zimmer who ran the lines with some comic relief on the side for those parents who braved the cold winds. Thanks to the coaches, all the mothers each received a belated Mother's Day Rose from their son at the end of the game! Way to Go Sarnia Fury.

May 16 - Sarnia White vs. Bluewater Boom

On yet another bone chilling night the boys took the field and had a successful outcome. The Bluewater team had an opportunity to score in the first few minutes of play but Evan Trigatti was solid in net and let nothing by him. Evan had a few more great saves during his half in net. After the first close call the Fury Boys held the Bluewater boys off by playing the majority of the game in the Bluewater end. Camden MacLean had numerous opportunities to score and played a solid game on right wing. Seth Kember also had a great game with his speed and passing. Nathan Oliphalt took to the net for the second half of the game and was successful in maintaining the shut out for the team. The boys passing skills were great throughout the game. The Fury ended the game with 12 goals. Goal scorers this week were: Mark Barsoum with 3, Seth Kember and Stephan Pisic with 2 a piece, Collin Zimmer, Brady Medeiros, Logan Johnston, Ian Bailey and Brayden Boere with 1 a piece.
