Sarnia, ON - LSSAA finals are set in both senior girls and boys soccer, as semi-final match ups were played Tuesday afternoon.
In senior girls soccer, Northern moved into the finals with a 5-1 victory over St. Patrick's. S. Auterhoof had two goals for the Vikings, while A. Knott, V. Regan and K. Roberts each had single goals. Amanda Dombovary had the lone goal for the Irish.
The Vikings will take on St. Christopher's who also defeated North Lambton by a score of 5-1. J. Labadie, C. Pettit, M. Savo, V. Spano and M. Mitchell each had goals for the Cyclones while Alicia Veens had the lone goal the Eagles.
In boys soccer, St. Christopher's and Northern will also battle for the LSSAA championship, as Northern defeated North Lambton 5-0, and St. Chris defeated St. Clair 3-0. Elliot Pecora had all five goals for the Vikings, while Zach Roberts picked up the shutout. R. Greenwood, M. SPinozzi and A. DeCarolis had the goals for the Cyclones.
Both finals will be played at 4:00pm, with the girls final going at Northern and the boys at St. Christopher. The Northern Vikings will also represent LSSAA in the SWOSSAA 3A boys and girls divisions, St. Christopher's in the 2A boys and girls divisions and North Lambton in the 1A boys and girls divisions.
Also on Tuesday, LSSAA baseball action continued, as St. Christopher's defeated SCITS 11-2, LCCVI defeated Northern 11-0, and SCITS defeated St. Clair 12-0.
