Sarnia, ON - With an outstanding season, leading both us team and league in points, the Mooretown Flags Jason Teschke, was named the Ontario Hockey Associations Player of the Year.
Teschke lead the Great Lakes Junior C Hockey League with 35 goals, 37 assists and 72 points in 39 games with the Flags last season. He also ranked second in playoff scoring, adding 8 goals, 13 assists and 21 points in 10 playoff games for the Flags who defeated the Alvinston Flyers 4-1, but lost to Belle River 4-1 in the league semi-finals.
In two full seasons with Mooretown, Teschke has scored 56 goals, 60 assists and 116 points.
