Sarnia, ON - It was another busy day in LSSAA sports, including the semi-finals for the senior boys rugby. The finals are set, as St. Clair defeated St. Christopher's 12-5, and Northern defeated LCCVI 26-0. In their regular season match up, St. Clair defeated Northern 7-0.
In senior girls rugby, St. Clair defeated St. Patrick's 15-0 to advance into the finals against the winner of LCCVI and St. Christopher's.
Other games on Tuesday included St. Christopher's defeating North Lambton 2-0 in senior girls soccer. Jeena Prevost and Alex Potts scored for the Cyclones while Celine Norman picked up the shutout.
In boys soccer, St. Christopher's won in a shootout after a 1-1 draw in regulation time. Mike Fazzalari scored for the Cyclones while Corey Jackson had the shootout winner. Jeff Veens had the goal for the Eagles.
LCCVI won their second game in a row as Adam Orrange and Bryan Oke scored to give the Lancers a 2-0 shutout over SCITS. Jordan Heisler had the shutout.
And it boys baseball, Northern defeated St. Christopher's 11-6. Mitch Bigras had 9 strikeouts in 4 innings, while Jace Felton had 4 RBI's.
