Saginaw, MI - The Sarnia Sting came from behind
twice and Tyler Brown won it in overtime, as the
Sting even up their series with the Saginaw Spirit
with a 4-3 overtime victory Saturday night.
Sarnia
found themselves down by two goals, as Carlos
Amestoy would score the only goal in the first
period early on, while Garret Ross would score on
the power play in the early minutes on the second
period to give the Spirit a 2-0 lead.
Sarnia
would rebound on the power play, as Nail Yakupov
would get his first playoff goal to cut the lead in
half after the second period.
In the
third, more power play time would help the Sting, as
Ryan Spooner would find the back of the net just
1:35 into the third to tie it at 2-2.
Josh
Shalla would put the Spirit back in front minutes
later, but the Sting would be quick to respond as
Anthony DeAngelo would score 21 seconds later to tie
the game at 3-3, resulting in overtime.
In the
extra period Sarnia would find the game winner
quickly, as Tyler Brown would score just under four
minutes into overtime, not only winning the game,
but tying the series at one game each.

Anderson made 43 saves on the night for the victory.
Game three
will go Monday night in Sarnia.
