Hogan's Pharmacy Atom team won their second round robin game with a 7-1 victory over Lakeshore Optimist.
Hogan's Pharmacy started things in the first as Daylen Vanderslagt got a fluke goal as he shot the puck down the ice and Hunter Hendrie misplayed it and it went into the back of the net for a 1-0 lead in the first period.
In the second period Vanderslagt would get his second of the game, as he went hard to the net and jammed the puck in passed the goalie on a breakaway.
Lakeshore would cut the lead in half before the period was out, as Caleb Bourgeois picked up the puck in front of the net, moved it to his forehand and wristed it passed Justyn Archer to make it 2-1.
But before the period was out, Hogan's Pharmacy would strike again, as Vanderslagt would add his third of the game with 1 second remaining, coming in on a breakaway and putting a wrist shot passed Hendrie before the horn sounded to make it 3-1.
In the third, Hendrie came up with a big save to keep it just a two goal game, and Lakeshore Optimist would get a chance with a powerplay to get some goals back. But it wouldn't turn out in their favour as Conner Rapalch would wrap around the net and beat Hendrie for a shorthanded goal to make it 4-1.
Hogan's Pharmacy would add another off a rebound by Mathew Desrosiers, while Vanderslagt would add his 4th of the game and Jacon Wilson would add one in the dying seconds to make it a 7-1 final.
