Lakers lost
their second
game in a
row at home
to the
Wheatley
Sharks on
Monday, as
the Sharks
pull off a
3-2 overtime
victory.
The victory was a come from behind win for the Sharks, as Shawn Lubbers made it 1-0 for the Lakers in the only first period goal, despite the Lakers being outshot 17-14.
In the second period no one could find the back of the net amongst 33 shots on goal between the two teams.
In the third, Tyson Isaac scored his 5th of the playoffs to but the Lakers up 2-0 with nine minutes to play. But the Sharks would mount the comeback as Shawn Quigley scored his 10th of the playoffs to cut the lead in half. Quigley would be in on the game tying goal as Robert Jardine scored to send the game into the extra period.
In overtime it wouldn't take long for the Sharks to take a 2-1 lead in the series as Quigley scored his 11th of the playoffs 27 seconds into the overtime period.
