Lakers let two goal lead slip in game three overtime loss march 8th, 2011

The Wallaceburg Lakers lost their second game in a row at home to the Wheatley Sharks on Monday, as the Sharks pull off a 3-2 overtime victory.

The victory was a come from behind win for the Sharks, as Shawn Lubbers made it 1-0 for the Lakers in the only first period goal, despite the Lakers being outshot 17-14.

In the second period no one could find the back of the net amongst 33 shots on goal between the two teams.

In the third, Tyson Isaac scored his 5th of the playoffs to but the Lakers up 2-0 with nine minutes to play. But the Sharks would mount the comeback as Shawn Quigley scored his 10th of the playoffs to cut the lead in half.  Quigley would be in on the game tying goal as Robert Jardine scored to send the game into the extra period.

Game four will go March 9th in Wheatley.
