On
Monday June 6th the Sarnia Fury White team was
matched up with the Bluewater Strikers. The Fury
took control in this few minutes of play and were
able to put home the first goal with their excellent
team passing.
The
Strikers responded with a few quick goals. Before
the end of the first half Brian Monteiro was able to
hit one hard and set it to the back of the Strikers
net. The boys played their positions well and had
some really great opportunities. At half, the score
was 4-2 for the Strikers. Collin Zimmer played a
solid first half in net and then came back out to
help his teammates for the second half while Nathan
Oliphant stepped up to goal tend.
The
second half saw the Fury with scoring opportunities
but the trikers were not letting anything by. The
boys played a clean hard game but were unable to
come back. The final score of the night was 6-2 for
the Strikers.
