The Wyoming Wrangler Bantams got back to their
winning ways on Monday night, squeaking out an 8-7
win in St. Thomas.
It was a
seesaw battle in the early innings, but Wyoming
erased a 4-3 St. Thomas lead by scoring 4 runs in
the 5th inning and then adding another in the 6th.
St. Thomas came back in their half of the 6th with 3
runs before Eric Steeves came on in relief to record
the final 2 outs.
Joey
Vanderwal threw the first 4 innings and he was
followed by Spencer Burden. Christian Kerrigan led
the Wyoming hitting attack with 3 singles and
Steeves chipped in with a pair.
The
Wranglers are right back in action on Tuesday night,
June 7, at home against North London. It’s a 7:00
start at Canton Park.
