On – Sarnia Sting General Manager Jacques Beaulieu
announced this afternoon the Sarnia Sting Hockey
Club has acquired 18-year old forward Domenic
Alberga from the Brampton Battalion.
The Sting have sent a 4th round pick in the 2012 OHL
Priority Selection to the Battalion in exchange for
Alberga.
Beaulieu explains his thoughts on the transaction.
“Domenic is a gritty, hard working centre who
competes hard. He is a difficult player to play
against and I feel like he will be an excellent
compliment to some of the top end forwards we have
in our lineup. He is a blue collar player who
exemplifies the type of player Sarnia fans love. We
are very excited to add him to our lineup.”
