Sarnia,
On – General Manager Jacques Beaulieu made a pair of
announcements today regarding the Hockey Operations
Department of the Sarnia Sting Hockey Club.
The club has announced that Nick Sinclair in
addition to his role as Toronto Area Scout will now
also serve as the Director of Player Personnel.
Sinclair a native of Toronto, has been with the club
for two seasons as the Toronto Area scout and has a
11 year background in scouting.
Prior to joining the Sting, Nick worked for
International Scouting Services (ISS), from
2006-2009. During this time Nick served as the OHL
Head Scout for the ISS from 2008-2009 where he was
responsible for the OHL Draft Rankings and profiles
of the top 150 prospects annually. During his time
with ISS, Nick also assisted with the NHL Draft
Rankings.
Sinclair has also worked closely with the Team
Ontario Under 17 program most recently participating
in the 2011 Under 17 Provincial Camp held earlier
this month in Thunder Bay.
Beaulieu also announced that Mark Glavin has been
named the club’s Assistant General Manager and
Director of Public Relations.
Glavin has been an employee of the hockey club since
2000 serving previously as the Director of Public
Relations and Game Day Operations.
In his new role Glavin will primarily be responsible
for all Hockey Administration assisting with Player
Contracts, Immigration, and Team Travel as well all
Media and Public Relations.
