LSSAA had its final big day of action Tuesday before
students break for exam week, and thirteen games
were on schedule.
In
junior boys basketball, SCITS defeated LCCVI 31-26.
Victor Liang had 9 points, Tristan Wildschut had 8
points for the Bombers, while T. McMurphy had 11
points and M. Packer had 6 for the Lancers.
St.
Patrick's defeated St. Clair 51-40. J. Maiton had
18, while B. Reid had 10 points for the Irish, while
Fraser Smith and Adam Waller had 12 for the Colts.
St.
Christopher's topped Northern 61-56. J. Elsley had
14, and S. Ellenor had 17 for the Cyclones, while
Theo Karaouzas had 16 and Dalton Kilmer had 22 for
the Vikings.
In senior
boys action, SCITS defeated LCCVI in a close game
37-33. Tom Mullen had 17 points and Jason Dobson had
9 for the Bombers, while Jamie Morreau and Michael
Paisley each had 10 for the Lancers.
Finally
for basketball, St. Patrick's defeated St. Clair
58-44. Harry Oh had 27 and Patrick Taylor had 23 for
the Irish, while Troy Nahmabin had 12 and Brandon
Mason had 10 for the Colts.
In junior
girls volleyball, SCITS defeated LCCVI 2-1, with
25-22, 28-26, 15-25 set wins. Meg Thevenot and Sade
Mallon were players of the match for SCITS, while
Hannah Tremblay got the honour for the Lancers.
In senior
girls action, LCCVI defeated SCITS 3-0, with 25-13,
25-22, 25-15 set wins. Vanessa Dam was played of the
match for LCCVI and Chloe Cadieux and Sarah Fletcher
were for SCITS.
Nother
Lambton defeated St. Francois-Xavier 3-0, with
25-13, 25-17, 25-23. Megan Cates was named player of
the match.
In curling
action, St. Patrick's defeated Northern 7-2 and
LCCVI defeated St. Chris 9-2 in girls action. In
boys action, Northern defeated St. Patrick's 7-2,
and LCCVI defeated St. Chris 8-2.
In girls
hockey, North Lambton defeated St. Patrick's 7-3.
North Lambton had seven different goal scorers, as
Campbell, Ferguson, Parizeau, Mayer, L. Morgan,
Shawnoo and Mackenzie each got goals for the Eagles.
Vanderisan had two for the Irish while Morgan had
one in the loss.
And final
in boys hockey, St. Christopher's defeated SCITS
10-2 in a make up game at the RBC Centre. Matteo
Ciccarelli had two goals and an assist, while Dylan
Regan, Brandon Moore, Corey Pawley, Pietro Restivo,
Joe DeSena, Keegan Brandon, Ben Morrison and Nic
Amodeo each had singles for the Cyclones. Matt Glowa
and Dallas Harper had the goals for the Blue
Bombers. |
