The All-Star Classic for boys LSSAA hockey went Tuesday night at Sarnia Arena, and Team Micor came out victorious with a 9-7 victory over Team Outfitters.

Team outfitters took the early lead in the game, as Adam Hayes (St. Clair) scored just forty-nine seconds into the game. Team Micor would get their first as Brett MacKenzie (North Lambton) made it 1-1. Troy Whitely (LCCVI) made it 2-1, but thirty seconds later Pietro Restivo (St. Chris) tied it at two. But Karsten Berg (St. Clair) put Micor ahead after the first period with a 3-2 lead.

The second period started with St. Clair goalie Seth Hellinga stopping Corey Pawley on a penalty shot. But Davis Triest (LCCVI) would pop in the goal to tie the game at three. Christian Savo (St. Chris) would give Outfitters their second lead of the game with his goal, but seconds later Dan Bowling (SCITS) would put Micor back up. After the goalies changed, Keegan Brandon (St. Chris) would score four seconds later to give Micor the lead. Brandon would get his second of the game minutes later to put Micor up 6-4. But Outfitters would come back, as Justin Moore (Northern) made it a one goal game, and Restivo would get his second of the game to tie the game at 6 heading into the third.

In the third period, Elliott Pecora (Northern) would put Micor up by one. MacKenzie would get his second of the game to put Micor up by two, and CLint Rose (LCCVI) would make it three in a row for Micor as they take a 9-6 lead. Brad Jacklin (LCCVI) would stop Dan Hachey on a penalty shot, while Restivo would add a late third period goal for the hat-trick. Yet Outfitters came up just short, as Micor takes it 9-7.
