Lambton were hosting
division rival and the team chasing them in the
standings, the Chatham-Kent Cyclones. Lambton needed
to win to improve their point total, keep a safe
distance in front of Chatham-Kent and to try to move
up in the standings.
Lambton got off to a good start with Brennan McKegan
laying out a couple of CK Cyclones and generating a
number of offensive opportunities. Unfortunately no
Lambton players were able to put the puck in the
net. The first period ended in a 0-0 tie.
That was it for highlights as Chatham scored three
times in the second and shut-down Lambton in the
third period for a 3-0 win.
Ethan Williams was solid in net.
