On Friday January 7 at the Clearwater Arena the Sarnia Jr. Sting Minor Atom MD lost to the visiting Stratford Warriors by a score of 3 to 1. Sarnia started the scoring with four minutes left in the first period as Collin Zimmer drove the puck to the net and beat the Warriors goalie low stick side. Collins goal was unassisted.

Stratford got two quick goals before the first frame was over and added another half way through the 2nd to complete their victory. The Jr. Sting tightened up defensively for the rest of the game but could not add any more goals and had to settle for only their second loss in regular season play.

The Jr. Sting will play an exhibition game against the Pt. Edward Atom team on Monday January 10. On Friday January 14 the North London Nationals will be in town to face the Jr. Sting.
