The Dresden Jr. Kings allowed four goals in the third period to fall to the South division first place Belle River Canadiens 6-3 Friday night.

Dresden started off the game with high expectations, leading 1-0 after Joe Deboer scored a powerplay goal, while the Kings held the Canadiens to 11 shots and no goals to take a early game lead.

Belle River would stretch that lead to two goals when Nik Dobrich scored his 17th of the season just over a minute into the third period. But Dresden would be quick to respond as James Shelton would respond a minute twenty-four later to bring the Kings to within one. But Belle River would restore the two goal lead within thirty-eight seconds as Travis Brown scored his 24th of the season to make it 4-2. Matt Todd would get is second of the game two minutes later to push the lead to three, while Josh Beatty of Dresden would get the Kings back on the board to make it 5-3. But Chris DiNatale woukd score shorthanded to put the final dagger in the Kings, as the Canadiens hand Dresden a crucial 6-3 loss.
